Location
The historic town of Arundel is one of West Sussex's best-kept secrets. It nestles at the foot of the South Downs with the River Arun flowing through it and is watched over by the majestic Cathedral and Castle, both obviously worth a visit. It boasts a wealth of antique markets, contemporary art galleries, independent life-style shops, cafes, pubs, wine bars and restaurants, and even an open-air heated swimming pool. There are fabulous walks throughout the stunning countryside and a million things to do and see, for young and old.
Other activities include canoeing, boating, cycling, tennis and bird-watching at the Wetlands and Wildfowl Trust. Climping beach is a short drive away and Brighton and Chichester very easily accessible.
Arundel truly has something for everyone and is the perfect destination for a wonderfully quiet or frantically busy break.
